WHO WE ARE
AED Spaces is a chartered architecture and multidisciplinary design practice founded by Sumudu Wedisinghe, a Chartered Architect with deep expertise and a genuine passion for creating spaces that are both beautiful and deeply functional.
The name says it all: Architecture, Engineering, Design, Spaces. Four disciplines working in harmony to deliver fully integrated design solutions from the first sketch to the finished space.
Based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, with a global outlook, AED Spaces works across residential, commercial, institutional and public sectors. We bring together in-house professionals specialising in Architecture, Structural and Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Interior Design and Project Management, offering clients a single point of accountability across every stage of their project.
We are driven by the belief that great design is not a luxury. It is a responsibility. Every project we undertake is an opportunity to shape the way people experience the built world. We take that responsibility seriously.

AEDS started in 2015 as an independent design studio with a different name, mainly focusing on Architecture.
Now, we are AEDS, Chartered Architectural Practice.
